Hi, I’m Amanda!
I’ve been in the hair industry for 23 years and have proudly owned Fringe Benefits Salon for the past 15 years. What I love most about doing hair isn’t just the transformations—it’s the interactions and connections I get to have every day with our amazing guests and talented team. I’ve created an atmosphere where laughter, conversation, and even a little silliness are part of the experience. My goal is for every guest to feel like they’re hanging out with friends, not sitting in a stuffy salon chair.

From Paul Mitchell educator to salon owner, my passion has always been creating beautiful hair and meaningful connections.
💇♀️ My Background
I was a Paul Mitchell International Educator for 20 years and spent 8 years as the Color Specialist at Paul Mitchell The School Tampa. Education has always been a huge part of my journey, and I’ve loved mentoring new stylists as they grow into confident, skilled professionals. I’m certified in Brazilian Blowouts, Easy Hair Pro Extensions, and Fabuloz Hair Extensions, and I’m also a proud member of the SouthShore Chamber of Commerce.
🌟 My Style
Clients describe me as hard-working, community-driven, fun-loving, and just the right amount of sarcastic. I create a laid-back, welcoming vibe where you can truly relax and be yourself. I don’t necessarily “specialize” in just one thing—after more than two decades behind the chair, I’ve done it all: long or short, thick or thin, straight or curly. That said, my favorite thing to do is updos—so bring on the weddings, homecomings, and proms!
💬 Fun Fact
When I’m not in the salon, I’m usually traveling and soaking up every adventure I can find. I’m a huge football fan (especially fantasy football) and love a little friendly competition.
